What has been measured on this site, what has not, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

1. What has actually been checked

Each item below was measured in a browser during August 2026, not assumed. Where something was wrong, what it was is written out.

Keyboard focus is always visible

A single rule in the stylesheet puts a 3 px outline in the brand colour on everything focusable. Before, one page removed the outline without replacing it.

Headings do not skip levels

All 31 public pages carry exactly one H1 and no gap in the sequence. Several pages jumped from H1 straight to H3 until August 2026, because card headings were rendered as plain containers.

No sideways scrolling on a phone

Measured in a browser at 375 px on every public page. The company list and the embed snippet used to push the page 117 and 124 px past the edge.

Most controls are at least 44 px

Buttons, pagination, table-of-contents links and the review actions were raised to 44 px. Some links on /help and /write-review are still smaller — see below.

The page declares its colour scheme

Without that declaration, a device set to dark mode renders native controls dark on a white page. The site is light-only and now says so.

2. What has not been checked

This list is here because an accessibility statement that only names successes is not much use to the person reading it.

No automated accessibility testing runs against this site. No axe-core, no Lighthouse budget, no CI check.
The site has not been tested with a screen reader by a person who uses one daily.
Some links on /help and /write-review are still below the 44 px target size.
The badges a company can embed on its own website follow their own rules and were excluded from this work.
Contrast ratios have not been measured across every colour pairing.

3. Which standard applies

The target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. No conformance has been certified and no audit has been carried out, so this page does not claim the site meets it. The gaps in section 2 are the ones known today; there are almost certainly others that no one has looked for yet.

4. Reporting a barrier

If something on this site keeps you from doing what you came to do, write to us through the contact form. It helps if you can say which page it was, what you were trying to do, and which browser or assistive technology you were using — but a short note is better than none.

Reading this page differently

This page is plain HTML with no fixed text sizes, so your browser's zoom and your own stylesheet both work on it, and a screen reader can read it in order. We cannot produce braille or audio versions.
