How VerifyPilot Works
From reading a review to writing one — the actual steps, with nothing added that we don't really do.
- 1
Find a business
Search by name or category and read the reviews that are already there.
- Search a company or browse a category
- Read reviews and see the average rating
- Compare a few businesses before you decide
- 2
Write your review
Rate the business and describe what happened, in your own words.
- Give a rating from one to five stars
- Write what your experience was actually like
- Add the date and what you bought, if you want to
- 3
Confirm your email
We email you a link. Your review goes live when you click it.
- A reCAPTCHA check keeps automated spam out
- The review waits until you confirm the address
- Once you click the link, it is published — there is no wait beyond that
- 4
It stays yours
You keep control of what you wrote.
- Edit your review whenever your experience changes
- Delete it at any time from your account
- Your rating counts towards the business's average
Common questions
Two things. A reCAPTCHA check keeps automated spam out when you submit, and we email you a link you have to click before the review appears. That ties each review to a working email address. We do not ask for proof of purchase and we do not verify anyone's identity — we would rather not claim a check we don't actually run.
